GUILTY PLEASURES
Tarah:  Okay, here it goes:  I like to sing love songs at the top of my lungs!  In the kitchen, the car, or even in the shower!  But not just any love songs.  It's gotta be singers like Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, or Celine Dion.  And you can't hold back, either, even if you're off-key!  You just gotta belt-it-out: loud and proud!

Dave:  I am what most people lovingly refer to as a nerd.  I love to play Dungeons & Dragons, watch "Mystery Science Theater 3000," and listen to techno music while I am at work.

Dungeons and Dragons

BUCKET LIST
Tarah:  I would say going on a cruise because I hear the food is wonderful, you can relax a lot, but you can also do fun things, especially on the shores of the places you travel to (like zip-lining and so forth).

Dave:  I would like to go hang-gliding because it would be exciting and it would be amazing to feel like you're flying.

QUIRKS
Tarah:  I can't stand popping a balloon or listening to a balloon being popped.  Someone else has to do it because I just can't.  I feel the same way about crescent roll cans being popped.  I am just a jumpy person and it scares me every time!  Not happening.  Nope.

Dave:  I can't stand the sound of construction paper being folded.  If someone slides their fingers across construction paper, I am a goner!  Not on normal paper, but there's just something about the consistency of construction paper.  Grosses me out!

SUPER POWER
Tarah:  Flying, of course!  I think it would just be cool to soar through the air and play in the clouds.  To feel light and free.  And to travel faster, without having to sit still in a chair for hours.

Dave:  Teleporting!  It would be amazing to travel anywhere in a matter of seconds, without the stress of traveling in airports or having to deal with traffic.



FAVORITE BOOKS
We love books, so this is a hard one!

Tarah:  Children's Book:  Skippy Jon Jones because I get to use my Spanish, speak in a fun accent, and be super expressive.  Adult Book:  Edenbrooke because I am a sucker for a good romance, and this one is HILARIOUS and relatable.

Dave:  Young Adult Book:  The Ranger's Apprentice because it is exciting, really well written, and has fun characters.  Adult Book:  The Lord of the Rings because it's about overcoming insurmountable odds and because it had such a huge impact on modern fantasy.

FEARS
Tarah:  A pretty consistent nightmare I have is that my teeth are crumbling and I spit them out in pieces.  I am also so afraid to fall and chip my teeth.  Matter of fact, Ellie fell down one time and hit her mouth.  All I saw was blood all around her teeth and I almost passed out on the spot!  So there you have it!  Teeth.  I am also afraid of snakes, heights, and I can be pretty claustrophobic.

Dave:  I am terrified of losing Ellie in a crowd and her being taken.  The thought of it scares me to death, so I am constantly checking where she is.  I also don't like earwigs.  They gross me out!

MOVIES
We also love to watch movies, so this was also very difficult!

Tarah:  It depends on my mood, but I would say Rocky 1-4 because they get me super pumped!  The music, the suspense, I love it all!  And the characters are real, and again relatable:  he is not super intelligent but he has a big heart.  And she is super shy and sweet.

Dave:  I really like Black Panther because of the well-developed characters and the perfect bad guy.  It is action-packed, but also meaningful.
