Elliana

A couple of years into our marriage, we had Elliana May Nelson.  She was a wonderful addition to our family.  The sweetest baby with the gift to laugh easy and make the best facial expressions.  Dave and I thought we knew joy when we found each other, but Ellie changed everything!  We have never loved in such a way!  We know, because of her, that we will love any child that comes our way! 

Ellie is many things.  First off, she is a 3 year old, who loves to do everything "all by herself."  That also means she can be a bit sassy at times and occasionally needs some time-outs.  Oh the joys of being 3!  Ellie thrives most when she is around other people and kids, which is why she would make an amazing big sister.  She is "Mommy's Little Helper" all the time and she loves to please people.  Ellie is also obsessed with babies!  She gets super excited when she sees one, even in the grocery store she will shout out, "Look!  A baby!"

She loves playing with friends, but can also play very well by herself.  She can entertain herself in any room of the house and even normal house objects can become toys to her.  She would play outside all day if I let her, with just dirt, rocks, and sticks.  But she also has a girly-side where she loves dress-up time and do all things princess.  

Ellie loves movies so much that she quotes and reenacts them throughout the day.  She has a very special connection to music and dancing, and has no fear busting-a-move or belting-it-out wherever she is, even in front of total strangers.  She cracks us up all the time!
