Tarah

When people describe Tarah, they usually say she's spunky. She likes to keep things fun and has a gift for laughing super easy at anything and everything. She thrives around most people and she loves to talk to them and sincerely get to know them. Tarah's ideal life is having our home full of people. She loves having friends and family over and socializing with them. But she also can sense when our family needs a break, and is good to make sure that we have lots of down-time. We think it is important to have a good balance of both.

Tarah loves all things dance, and if there is a dance TV show out there, she is probably already watching it. She speaks fluent Spanish and loves to use it to help other people. The Latino people, food, music, and culture are very near and dear to her heart! She also has a mild obsession with dolphins: which was the theme of her classroom, is on her cell phone case, and is her notification sound. All of it! Dolphin-themed.

Tarah has done some pretty wonderful things in my life! Including traveling the world because her mom is a flight attendant (And Tarah loves to travel! She feels like it is one of the best way to educate our children). But she doesn't feel that anything she has done so far in her life even compares to being a mom! Tarah's mother says that she has always had a special connection with children from a very young age. But Ellie opened up a part of her heart that she didn't even know existed. Being a mom, for her, takes the cake! She wants to be at home with our kids to experience it all: every tooth, every giggle, and every first step. She wants to be the one that teaches them right from wrong, and especially, the one who teaches them to be a good person. She feels like it is what she was born to do, and has loved every minute of it!

Tarah taught 3rd grade for 7 years and has the ability to love any child that comes her way. She loves the light that children have and being able to teach them new things. Now she stays at home with our daughter, Ellie. It has always been her dream to be a mom. She loves teaching Ellie and reading books with her every chance she gets. She is constantly researching new ways to help Ellie learn. Tarah is a kid at heart and she can really make things fun and exciting for Ellie. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and kids thrive on it! She has a great imagination! She is just an amazing mom!

Tarah has a very outgoing personality and she makes friends very easily. She is really great at helping people to feel included. She shows her love for others by giving thoughtful gifts and writing uplifting notes. Tarah has always looked to the future with optimism and faith. Her belief in God is the most important thing in Tarah's life, and it has shaped her into the person she is today.
