Favorite Things

We love to do stuff together. Especially if it involves seeing life through our child's eyes. Ellie has a way of making even the regular stuff seem exciting because it is all new for her. We feel it is important to give our kids experiences. But we also feel like in this crazy, busy world, it is important to slow down and spend time at home. The most important thing to us (and our favorite thing) is PEOPLE. Family or friends or new-comers. We love to socialize and have people in our home. You can often find us playing board games with anyone and everyone. We can be super chill and easy-going, but we can also be really active. We think a good balance of both is important.

We also like to travel and we feel like it is a good way to educate our kids. My mom is a flight attendant, so I have been blessed to go to so many places. I feel like that has really made me cultured and helped me understand the world and other people better. We really want to make the effort to travel with our kids, especially when they are older and they can remember it better.

We also love the outdoors: hiking, camping, canoeing, all of it! But mainly, we just like being together :)
